These are exciting hours for FC Volendam. The leader of the first division may lose strong holder Denso Kasius. The FC Utrecht mercenary is in the interest of Bologna. Technical director of FC Volendam Jasper van Leeuwen cannot say anything about this possible transfer at the moment.
“In the first instance, it is a matter between FC Utrecht and Bologna,” Jasper van Leeuwen tells NH Sport. “I can’t say anything further about this, not even when asked how serious the interest is.”
Reward
For Denso Kasius himself it would be a fantastic reward. The nineteen-year-old right back is working on a great development at FC Volendam. A year ago FC Utrecht rented him out to the Volendam team. Under trainer Wim Jonk, Kasius was a certainty from day one and he has played 35 league matches for FC Volendam so far, scoring six times.

So it would be a big downer for FC Volendam if he leaves. “Yes, that’s for sure,” says Van Leeuwen about Kasius. “Although that’s a bargain.” Bologna is currently the number thirteen in the Serie A.
FC Volendam will play the next match at home on Friday. Quite coincidentally, Jong FC Utrecht is the opponent. Whether Kasius is there against his employer is still the question.
