As Sky first reported, Stuttgart professionals Deniz Undav, Maximilian Mittelstädt, Chris Führich and Waldemar Anton will probably be named by national coach Julian Nagelsmann in the squad for the upcoming international matches against France (March 23) and the Netherlands (March 26). However, the official announcement from the DFB is not planned until Thursday.
Three VfB players before the premiere
VfB is the surprise team in the league this season and is sensationally on course for the Champions League. Only Führich had already been nominated by Nagelsmann in the past; it would be a first for Mittelstädt, Anton and Guirassy’s strike partner Undav.
Curious: In addition to the players who have already been nominated, there are other regulars at the Swabians who could be considered for nomination.
