The Italian shoe brand Sergio Rossi has a new boss.
Helen Wright takes over the role of Global CEO from Sergio Rossi. She succeeds Paul Kotrba, who led the Italian luxury footwear brand as interim CEO for seven months. He replaced Riccardo Sciutto, who left the company, which is part of the Lanvin Group, last May.
Wright has a strong track record of “transforming businesses and creating reach and value for shareholders, always with a customer-centric approach,” said industry magazine FashionNetwork, citing a statement from the brand.
Accordingly, she will “focus on the strategic transformation of the company, defining and leading its global strategy and working with stakeholders and valued business partners to achieve sustainable growth.”
Wright has over 25 years of experience in the fashion and luxury industry and has previously led several brands in the UK and Australia. In addition to stints at Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld, Wright was CEO of the British bag label Anya Hindmarch from 2015 to 2015, according to her profile on the career network Linkedin. This was followed by three years as managing director at the British clothing company Belstaff. She then took a professional break, during which she worked on a voluntary basis and in advisory roles, before taking on the role of CEO of the Bloch international shoe brand last year. She worked there for seven months, until December.
