Spanish streamer Sergio Jimenez has died.

The 37-year-old streamer died while performing an extremely dangerous challenge on camera. The broadcast was aimed at a limited group of viewers.

Allegedly, viewers paid Jiménez to mix drugs and alcohol.

They talk about it, among other things The Mirror, People and El País.

“Are you in trouble?”

Jiménez’s body was found by his mother and brother, reports The Mirror. The streamer’s body was already lifeless and cold at that time.

The two found an almost empty bottle of whiskey, a pile of cocaine and two cans of energy drinks in the man’s room.

According to the allegations, the duo overheard live viewers talking to Jiménez.

– Are you crazy, Sergio? You haven’t finished the bottle of whiskey yet, viewers allegedly said.

The authorities investigating the case are investigating, among other things, who paid the streamer money.

Relatives shocked

Those close to Jiménez are furious over the 37-year-old’s death. His friends blame the audience of the live broadcast.

– They are scum who take advantage of others. They paid for cocaine and whiskey so that he would die, the man’s friends have told local media, according to The Mirror.

According to the media, Jiménez has suffered from mental health problems and has been in psychiatric treatment.

Relatively unknown to the general public, Jiménez rose to prominence in October when he appeared as a decadent streamer by Simón Pérez with videos.

In the public debate, some accusing fingers have pointed at Pérez. He himself has denied that he had anything to do with Jiménez’s death. He says he warned the man about dispensing narcotics.

Jiménez, who died during the challenge, has previously been banned from platforms such as Kick, DLive and Pump, because he broke the rules related to the use of narcotics.
