Sensitive setback for Dynamo Dresden

The sovereign league leaders Dynamo Dresden suffered a serious setback on the eighth matchday of the 3rd football league.

Coach Markus Beginn’s team lost 1:3 (0:1) to the midfield team Rot-Weiss Essen. Felix Götze (25′) with a header, captain Felix Bastians (80′) and Moussa Doumbouya (89′) ensured Essen’s important home win. Panagiotis Vlachodimos (90+7) scored late for Dynamo.

Dresden remains at the top of the table with 18 points from eight games – pursuers Erzgebirge Aue were unable to make up any ground.
