Club Guy & Roni will celebrate the premiere of Islands of Empathy in Groningen on Saturday. Composer Thijs de Vlieger (Noisia) and percussionists Niels Meliefste and Pape Seck (Slagwerk Den Haag) make a musical connection between Western culture and that of Pape Seck’s Senegal, in which this dance performance is rooted.
