Senate President Stephanie D’Hose (Open Vld) wants to reach an agreement before the summer to finally close the Senate. From contacts with the various political groups, she learns that there is a lot of consensus on this, D’Hose said at VTM News. “We have to go for a lean government in which the Senate no longer plays a role, but I cannot abolish the Senate with one signature.”
