We gave the ball to our opponent, we defended too far back, we couldn’t use the ball… After the 25th minute, we started to push a little further forward. We also started to use the ball better. I talked to my players at halftime and we changed this situation in the second half. We did not let our opponent get close to our goal, it was a victory we deserved. We cannot repeat the game of the first 25 minutes. We have to improve what we do right.
The game was not about adaptation in the first 25 minutes. We weren’t aggressive, we couldn’t play as a team. There was a problem not with the new players but with the whole team in the first 25 minutes.
