Unusual assignment for the special task force (SEK): On Wednesday afternoon, the elite police officers had to move out to Friedrichshain because a man had attacked his neighbor with a sports bow. The victim was unharmed.
Friedrichshain, Simplonstraße, 2.30 p.m .: According to initial findings, a 40-year-old had initially shot from his balcony at an office opposite with a sports bow.
When the 49-year-old business owner then fled from his office, the 40-year-old chased another arrow in his direction – but it got stuck in the branches of a tree. The shooter then hid in his apartment, the police moved in, and a special negotiating team was called to the site. The SEK also arrived a little later.
Finally, the officers forced their way into the apartment, the team dog overpowered the perpetrator and he was arrested. Now the public prosecutor is investigating against him.
According to the police, the accused had already received a “demonstration order” because of an unpaid fine.
According to BZ information, the man has been noticed several times in the past because of noise pollution in the house, and he is said to have once demolished an apartment door.
A commissariat of the responsible police department 5 is now conducting further investigations.
