The Berlin fashion fair Seek and the Union Showroom are growing closer together.
On Monday, the trade fair company Premium Group announced the premiere of the new project “The Junction”, which is intended to interlink the two events that are already taking place in neighboring buildings.
In the loft rooms of the former postal goods station at Gleisdreieck, which are located at the transition from the Seek to the Union Showroom, the teams from both events want to present “a jointly curated selection of high-quality brands with an absolute focus on craftsmanship, origin and history” for the first time next January. present. The labels represented in the new area include Nudie Jeans, Tenue, Viberg, White Sand, Paltò, Freenote Cloth, Ootoo Boots and A New Sweden.
“The collaboration embodies the idea of a cooperative platform that makes it possible for buyers to discover the best collections from both platforms,” explained the Premium Group, which will now concentrate entirely on Seek after the closure of the previous main trade fair Premium.
Both events will have a “common hub”
Felix Engelmann, the founder and organizer of the Union Showroom, explained the new project. “Through the Junction, the Union and the Seek have a common hub,” he explained in a statement. “We have known each other as friends for a long time, which makes me even more pleased that as neighbors we can work on our ideas together at the location.” The aim is to make the stay “as good and efficient as possible for the shop owners and brands”.
Engelmann also indicated an even closer cooperation between the two neighboring events: “In the future we would like to discuss more in order to optimize the location at Gleisdreieck together,” he explained.
The Junction area is scheduled to open on January 14th alongside the Union Showroom and will be accessible until the end of Seek on January 17th.
