With “Big B” to success
In 2001, Kappa contributed to the song “Dickes B,” with which Seeed gained notoriety. The song is dedicated to the rugged beauty of Berlin and gave them their first chart placement. As a feature, the reggae musician contributed significantly to the success of the track.
After his collaboration with Seeed, Black Kappa continued to work as a solo musician and was often seen on stage at the Berlin Yaam Club, a meeting place for Afro culture. His EP “Honey Honey” was released in 2017 and the EP “I Live” was released in 2022.
Bandmate Demba Nabé died in 2018, also aged just 46.
