An emotional moment for fifty Ukrainian women this afternoon in Zaandam. They worked together for about nine months on a ‘Social Sofa’: a sofa that is meticulously covered with mosaic stones. As of today, the bench is located on the Gedempte Gracht near the music dome.
Earlier in the afternoon, attention was paid to the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine a year ago. Several speeches were given on a crowded Stadhuisplein.
