The Seddiner See becomes a golf paradise! From June 30th to July 3rd, the European women’s elite will gather in the Golf and Country Club Seddiner See (G&CC) for the first edition of the Amundi German Masters.
The last time such a tournament took place on German soil was the 2016 Ladies European Masters.
Good for the region: The event will probably take place here in the next three years and will be broadcast on TV in over 40 countries. A nice opportunity for Brandenburg to present itself internationally. Tournament director Dirk Glittenberg: “We look forward to spectacular live TV images that go around the world.”
The facility near Potsdam is one of the best and most renowned in Germany. The players of the first German tournament on the Ladies European Tour since 2016 will tee off on the south course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
The flagship at the Seddiner See was the women’s team of the AK30 as German champions. The first women’s team plays in the 2nd league. Now comes the big Golf with prize money of 300,000 euros.
