The security regions throughout the Netherlands will warn extra on Monday for the sirens that will be tested at 12:00.
They do this to prevent people from being scared about the war in Ukraine.
Normal test
“Every first Monday of the month at 12:00 pm, all 4278 sirens in the Netherlands are tested. Also on Monday 7 March”, according to the site of the South Limburg security region. Because the government is afraid that unrest will arise in connection with the war in Ukraine, they are announcing the test on Monday.

Monthly
The monthly test takes 1 minute and 26 seconds. When the sirens are heard at a different time or longer, there is an alarm. People then have to go in and close windows and doors and turn off vents. More information will also be given on the regional radio and TV stations.
If an alarm cannot be heard, it can be reported to the regional fire brigade.
NL-alert
A test NL-alert message is also sent twice a year. That is on the first Monday of June and December at 12:00 PM.
