Second victim of accident in Zarren / Esen also died
In the accident on Friday evening, two cars collided head-on on the N35, the road between Esen and Zarren. The driver of one car, a Georgian from PIttem, died instantly. The driver of the other was trapped, the fire brigade had to free him. He was then taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, where he is now deceased.
According to the traffic expert of the public prosecutor’s office, the Georgian had deviated from his lane.
