Bant – With their plan for a ‘second Ter Apel’ in Bant in Flevoland, the Cabinet and COA encountered resistance in the Noordoostpolder municipality. Not because the municipality is against asylum seekers – in Luttelgeest, a stone’s throw from the planned location, asylum seekers have been received for years. That’s it right, says Alex Tuinenga councilor of the Political Union: “We are already doing our bit.”
