Second suspect arrested in case of murdered Enschedeer

A second arrest has been made in the case of the killed Jihad Jafo. A 57-year-old man from Gronau, Germany, was arrested this morning. Just like the previously arrested Hamid S. from Den Ham, he is suspected of involvement in Jafo’s death.

In this case, the Butterfly detective team acted according to RTV East extensive trace research in the home of Hamid S. (46) from Den Ham and his halal shop in Hoogeveen.

Hamid S. and Jafo are both of Syrian descent. Jafo is known to have been involved in drug trafficking in the past. At the time of his disappearance, the police already reported that there may be a connection to his drug background. Hamid is in so-called restrictions.

In October, Hamid’s shop was searched. Hamid said he was friends with Jihad Jafo at the time.
