The online marketplace operator Sellpy will also have a stationary contact point in the center of Berlin in the coming weeks. On Monday, the second-hand retailer opened a pop-up store at Rosenthaler Straße 36.
Sellpy will be offering “a changing selection of curated second-hand items” there until the end of the year. In addition, customers can also hand in worn clothing and other products for resale in the temporary store. “Various events and promotions will also take place in the store to bring the Berlin Sellpy community together,” the company announced on Monday.
According to Sellpy, the pop-up store was realized in close collaboration with the Swedish clothing group Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), which has held a majority stake in the second-hand retailer since 2019. “H&M brought its expertise to the store conversion and supported with pre-loved furniture, which, together with the iconic Sellpy shipping boxes, form the shop’s interior,” Sellpy said in a statement.
