Second-hand and vintage pop-up in the Forum Steglitz

The Forum Steglitz is presenting a temporary area for second-hand and vintage fashion as part of the European Weeks for Waste Reduction.

The Berlin shopping center is taking a stand against the throwaway culture and is contributing to the reuse of clothing with the Re-Use Superstore, as Forum Steglitz announced on Thursday.

“It is worrying to see how more and more waste is being created because trends are changing ever faster,” said Pia Lehmkuhl, center manager of the Forum Steglitz. “I find offering alternatives to this extremely exciting.”

Visitors can expect a number of second-hand and vintage shops as well as charity and upcycling labels. The exhibition ‘Re-Use’ provides information about recycling. There is also the opportunity to take part in daily workshops on relevant topics.

The Re-Use Superstore can be visited from November 16th to 25th.
