Second edition Shrimp croquette festival completely sold out

A professional jury declared the croquette of restaurant Brassi the winner in 2021. The audience award went to Eetkaffee Poseidon. Eleven restaurants are now participating again.

“This weekend the various Ostend restaurants will present their traditionally made shrimp croquettes to the general public. It is up to the visitors to taste and vote for the very best shrimp croquette. Last year the festival attracted more than 3,000 visitors. We are looking forward to it. the three-day event,” says mayor Bart Tommelein. The prizes will be awarded to the winners on Sunday evening at 5.30 pm.

Sold out despite extra festival day

For those who did not yet have tickets, it is unfortunately too late to travel to Ostend. Although a second day of the festival was organized and even more people can come and taste it than last year, the second edition was sold out in record time.
