Vettel put on the helmet the same theme used in the banner that all the F1 drivers wanted to dedicate to peace, in a group photo published on March 9, the eve of the tests in Bahrain. But in addition to the Ukrainian lettering and national colors, Vettel wanted to have a white dove – a symbol of peace – drawn on his helmet and the lyrics of the song “Imagine”, the pacifist masterpiece composed by John Lennon in 1971.
