With 70 episodes, the comedy show “Pufpaffs Happy Hour” has been one of the TV classics of the culture channel 3sat since 2013 – now host Sebastian Pufpaff is handing over the program to Till Reiners. This was announced by 3sat on Thursday.
The reason is obvious. Pufpaff (45) has recently signed with the private broadcaster ProSieben. He has been presenting the revived show “TV total” there since November.
The cabaret artist and stand-up comedian Till Reiners (36) will host the show for the first time on March 20 (8:15 p.m.), which will then be called “Till Reiners’ Happy Hour”. The Berliner will moderate the show from the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg and present guests from all areas of satirical stage entertainment. Ten programs are planned for 2022, as well as a best-of on a theme day.
Reiners took part in poetry slams when he was a political student. “Since his first solo program “Da Remains Us Only the Anger” he has combined political satire and modern stand-up comedy, is just as at home on the stage as in TV and social media,” says 3sat. He appears regularly on the ZDF programs “heute-show” and “Die Anstalt”. This March he will receive the German cabaret prize.
There will be no new edition with Pufpaff before the start of Reiners. The last regular “Pufpaffs Happy Hour” ran on 3sat in early November, and a “Best of 2021” was broadcast at the end of December.
