The Finnish players became heroes when Carolina Hurricanes knocked out the New York Rangers 2-0 in the second round of the NHL playoffs and took second place in the lead.

Carolina goalkeeper Antti Raanta grabbed 21 defeats in the first playoff game of his career in the NHL playoffs. Hanska also won the first star award.

Sebastian Aho marked powers 1 + 1. Teuvo Sharp gave the lead to the goal.

Carolina took the lead at the end of the second round with a force. Sharp dug the edge of the disc and delivered it to Aho. Hurricanes escaped the attack with two against one.
