Seattle loses third game in a row

German ice hockey goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer (31) lost the third game in a row with the Seattle Kraken in the North American ice hockey league NHL.

On Sunday (local time), Seattle lost 5-1 (1-3, 0-1, 0-1) at home to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Nevertheless, the Grubauer-Klub is still on course in the Western Conference with 70 points as second in the wild card ranking, which entitles them to participate in the playoffs.

After Vince Dunn gave Seattle an early lead (4th minute), Grubauer didn’t do well to equalize shortly afterwards when he let the puck slide through his legs after Mark Giordano’s long-range shot (5th). John Tavares (8th) and Timothy Liljegren (13th) made it 3-1 for the guests in the first third, Auston Matthews (25th/53rd) made the final score.
