There is still no trace of the two men who have been missing since Ascension Day in the Brandenburg district of Oberhavel.
As a police spokeswoman said on Monday, the intensive search of the past few days had not been successful.
The two 22-year-olds celebrated together with friends in Zabelsdorf, a district of Zehdenick, on Ascension Day. The police said they probably went to the shore of the Großer Wentowsee after the end of the party in the early morning of the next day.
That’s where officers found one of the men’s jackets. Since then there has been no trace of either of them.
The search has been going on since Friday. Tracking dogs, police helicopters, boats and sonar technology were used. A spokeswoman on Monday was not yet able to provide any information on how the search would be continued.
