David Rüben (29) saw the seal last week when he walked over the railway bridge from Lent to Nijmegen.
“It was about half past four in the afternoon. I live in the center and walked around: via the Waal bridge to the railway bridge and then back home. I was on the side of Lent and suddenly saw, at the beach, a head surface with a mustache,” says David.
,,I still thought: that is not a person who is swimming. I immediately grabbed my cell phone because of course no one will believe that when you say that you have seen a seal in the Waal. I just managed to film the seal. Short, but undeniably a seal.”
