A shed on Dahliastraat in Assen was reduced to ashes early this morning. The flames soon shot out of the wooden roof.
The fire was discovered around 6 a.m. in the shed behind a house. It is not clear how the fire started. The cause is still under investigation.
The fire brigade was unable to prevent the entire barn from going up in flames. No one was injured in the fire.
