“An illegal party on our territory? None!” Strong language from Glabbeek’s mayor Peter Reekmans (Village Party) earlier this week, when it turned out that partygoers were targeting a military domain in his municipality. With sea containers, checks and a lot of police, he has so far been able to keep his word: Friday evening not a single partygoer had found his way. But of course there is still a whole weekend ahead of us.
