The tables and chairs on the terrace are cleared in the evening and placed back in the container. Kanninga: “It’s very easy to do that. The container is large, sturdy and vandal-proof. So it can take a beating.”
Visitors react positively to the arrival of the kiosk, which mainly uses local products. “I think it’s a great initiative. We walked to the lake and then we saw a container with a beautiful terrace, in Ibiza style. We immediately sat there and were nicely helped,” says one of the visitors. Another visitor adds: “I find it very surprising, especially how it is decorated. When the sun shines, it is really great.”
The pop-up kiosk can be visited at the Gasselterveld until the end of August.
