Sculpture Link: 16 bronze hares in Knokke-Heist

It is the largest retrospective of the British’s monumental hares ever. He succeeds in giving his bronze sculptures human traits. And that is what makes the works so attractive.

Sculpture Link will therefore not take place in the center this summer, but on the promenade from Surfer Paradise to the Zwin. This way you can admire the bronze hares in nature.

It was the late mayor Leopold Lippens who brought the first bronze hare from Flanagan to Knokke in 1997. Meanwhile, the iconic image that symbolizes the hospitality of the municipality for the artist himself who died in 2009, the hare radiates freedom.

During the Knokke Art Fair from 6 to 15 August, smaller bronze hares by Barry Flanagan will be exhibited in the Grand Casino.
