In Casoria, during the celebrations for the championship, a man at the wheel of a Fiat Stilo crashed into a sidewalk, running over four pedestrians, and then fled from the scene of the accident. Tracked down and reported

A case of road piracy during the celebrations for the Napoli championship. On the evening of 4 May, in Casoria (municipality north of the capital), a man driving a Fiat Stilo crashed into the sidewalk that runs alongside the main wall of the local Carabinieri barracks, in via Pio XII. In the collision, the car hit four people who were walking. Pedestrians were injured. The worst consequences were for a 20-year-old girl, currently hospitalized at the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Frattamaggiore. Her life is in danger after suffering a head injury and a brain hemorrhage.

The escape after the accident

The driver of the Stilo abandoned the car immediately after the accident and fled on foot. But the surveillance cameras allowed the Carabinieri to track him down quickly and report him. He is 43 years old and lives in Casoria. The other three wounded were hospitalized in the Cardarelli hospitals in Naples, Villa dei Fiori in Acerra and San Giovanni di Dio in Frattamaggiore.
