Joel Beukers, Arie Boomsma’s screaming buddy, thinks that Today Inside goes ‘extremely far’ with its reporting on the supplement riot. “Wait a minute! Everyone needs injections!”
It continues to fester: the TV row between Arie Boomsma and Renze Klamer about supplements. Arie believes that we should take vitamin pills en masse – he also has a financial interest in this – while Renze states that 98 percent of people do not need anything at all. Arie’s buddy Joel Beukers has now started shouting at Renze.
Grain of salt
That strange scream of that fitfluencer Joel was also mentioned in the ratings hit Today Inside. They find it very strange that Joel is acting so aggressively. What is his reaction to that?
Joel would rather not say nasty things about someone as old as Johan Derksen, he says in an interview fitness vlog. “I will always have some kind of respect for people who are older anyway and therefore sit at such a table and in this case talk about Arie and a little bit about me. Whether I like them or not, I have some kind of respect…”
Add syringes
Joel does think it goes too far that the VI editors showed all kinds of pills and syringes in the background when discussing Arie. “Wait a minute! Everyone needs syringes! God, this… Jesus…”
In this way, Today Inside really makes a caricature of it, says Joel. “I know that we have to take this program with a grain of salt and I sometimes think it’s fine to watch, but this goes extremely far with injecting in it framingcome on!”
Nice scoop
Joel does not understand why Arie is treated this way by VI. “I don’t think they think very highly of Arie at Today Inside anyway. You can think of me whatever you want about anyone, but Arie is walking the talking. I also do that. I am also in the same corner of scientific studies and so on.”
And the men of VI? According to Joel, they clearly don’t understand it. “I understand that the gentlemen at the table don’t understand what it is all about, because they are not in that scene, so I want to leave it at that. I’ll have a nice one scoopie.”
