AMSTERDAM – Scottie Scheffler had been trying to climb the global wave ladder for some time, but the American’s story takes a bizarre turn. With his victory in the World Match Play Championship, he knocked Jon Rahm from the number 1 position in the world ranking. Scheffler recorded the third win in his last five tournaments. Since his first win, he earned 5.6 million, which is about 130,000 euros per day.
