Scott Pooley’s saga continued. After all, the American is free to go to Sweden.

Rauma Lukko has canceled the contract Scott Pooley with. Previously Swedish media Expressen reported about Pooley’s transfer to the Swedish Allsvenskan, but Lukko still assured that the Yankee striker will stay in Rauma.

Pooley’s contract had an option for next season, which Lukko exercised. Now, however, the club announced that they are parting ways with Pooley.

According to Luko, it is a breach of contract with the club, which is why Pooley’s contract is terminated. An agreement has been reached on appropriate damages.

The release states that Pooley wanted to end his contract for this season due to personal reasons.

Pooley will move to the previously reported Allsvenskan team IF Björklöven. He played in Luko for one season, scoring 34 points in the regular season. He scored 1+2 in seven playoff matches.
