After four weeks of Marcel & Gijs, the regular viewer of SBS 6 seems to be more enthusiastic about the next VI replacement: De Oranjezomer with presenter Hélène Hendriks. After the 713 thousand viewers on Monday, 733 thousand people (17 percent market share) watched the broadcast on SBS 6 last night.

“So, already on day two!”

With this score, Hélène manages to attract more viewers than Op1 (719 thousand). And Renze (588 thousand) leaves them far behind. “Like this. Already on day two, Hélène Hendriks has become the number one of the regular talk shows in the Netherlands with De Oranjezomer”, writes viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp on her analysis channel.

Where she still scored a bit ‘old’ on her premiere day, Hélène did achieve a good market share in the commercial target group on day two, namely 15 percent (in 25 to 54 years). According to Tina, that is ‘very neat’. “Hélène and SBS 6 will be VERY satisfied. She even has 227 thousand more viewers than Marcel & Gijs last week.”

Ozcan responds

Özcan Akyol is Hélène’s regular guest all week and that is smart according to Tina, because he would be a viewing magnet. He was teased about that by the presenter last night.

Hélène: “Eus, I have to thank you for yesterday’s ratings, because according to ratings expert Tina Nijkamp, you are the big ratings gun of almost all programs you make. And if Tina says so, then so be it.”

Ozcan: “You’re welcome.”

Viewer magnet

Hélène: “What makes you such a magnet?”

Ozcan: “I don’t know. It’s Tina’s theory. Arbitrary, I think. I don’t know if that’s right, but it’s nice when someone says so. For the rest, I don’t know.”

Prior to Hélène, the penultimate episode of Familie Gillis: Massa is Kassa 501 thousand viewers (11 percent) captivated. SBS 6 makes a decision on a sequel after the lawsuit against Peter, so next week may be the last episode ever. “Then the TV career is over for Peter Gillis after ten seasons for the time being.”
