Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin lost 3-2 in a friendly against second division club FC Hansa Rostock on Monday afternoon.

The encounter, to which neither spectators nor media representatives were admitted, took place over three times of 30 minutes.

Attacker Sven Michel scored the goals for Union to make it 1-1 (31st) and midfielder Milos Pantovic to make it 2-3 (83rd). Nils Fröling was successful for Rostock with a brace (54th, 58th) and Louis Köster (17th).

A few hours after head coach Patrick Glöckner’s leave of absence, the guests were looked after by the two assistant coaches Nicolas Masetzky and Uwe Ehlers.

Both teams mainly used reservists and junior staff. The pros Lennart Grill, Jakob Busk, Tim Maciejewski, Milos Pantovic, Levin Öztunali, Sven Michel and Kevin Behrens were at Union.
