A man on a scooter was stabbed on Reinoutlaan in Geldrop. Police said he was assaulted and then stabbed. The man was injured in his arm. The 21-year-old suspect has since turned himself in to the police.
Soon after the stabbing, the police had a suspect in mind, but he was nowhere to be seen. Officers checked several houses in the area to see if he was there, but to no avail. Nevertheless, the 21-year-old man from Geldrop probably realized that the police were on his trail, because he later reported himself to the station.
After the scooter rider was stabbed in the arm, he fell to the ground. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and has since been taken to hospital.
