A scooter rider was seriously injured when he hit a garage with his scooter. The victim was rushed to hospital under the supervision of a trauma doctor. The identity of the victim has not been released.
The accident happened at De Haar in Emmen. Among the emergency services called was a Mobile Medical Team, which was flown in with the trauma helicopter.
It is not yet known how the accident happened.
