A scooter rider died in an accident on the Huijbergsebaan in Bergen op Zoom on Saturday evening around half past six. This is reported by the police. It’s about a young man. He collided with a car.
Several ambulances, an air ambulance and police officers came to the scene of the accident, but were unable to save the young man. His age has not yet been announced.

The Huijbergsebaan is a long road with a bicycle path next to it, outside the built-up area, between Huijbergen and Bergen op Zoom.
It is still unclear how the scooter rider and the motorist collided. Traffic specialists are investigating, for which the street was closed.
