Just before 2 a.m., the police received a report of the scooter accident on the bicycle path. The emergency services were urgently on site, but all help was to no avail: the driver of the shared scooter died of his injuries. The driver of the other scooter was uninjured.
It is unclear how the accident could have happened. The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
