At the beginning of the afternoon on the Asserstraat in Rolde, a cyclist was hit by a scooter rider, after which the driver of the scooter continued to drive.
The victim, who was received by some bystanders, was able to provide a description of the scooter rider. This description is now in the hands of the police. The cyclist was injured in the collision and had to be taken to hospital.
It is unknown what caused the collision.
