A scooter rider was injured in an accident in Emmen tonight. The driver drove the scooter head-on into a tree on the cycle path along Houtweg.
It is not known exactly what went wrong, as far as is known, no other users of the bicycle path were involved in the accident.
Two ambulances came to the scene of the accident. The victim was rushed to hospital.
