Radio astronomers have published images of the black hole Sagittarius A * in the center of the Milky Way
The panorama is the result of three years of observations. The pictures were taken with the MeerKAT telescope.

Scientists at the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) published images of the center of the Milky Way taken with the MeerKAT telescope.

The bright colors in the image show regions of strong radio emission, the gray background corresponds to areas with less intense radiation.

To the left of center is the escaping pulsar Mouse. In the upper right part – the radio thread “Snake”.
