Scientists from the Flemish Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) and the KU Leuven Center for Cancer Biology have succeeded in finding a new way to slow down the growth of tumours. The institute announced this in a press release on Thursday. Thanks to specialized research methods, the scientists were able to bypass the protective barrier that stops immune cells in the blood vessels of tumors.
