The time has come: On Tuesday morning, Mick Schumacher completed his first laps in a hypercar from the World Endurance Championship (WEC), which is fighting for overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In Jerez de la Frontera he completed a “short program” in the 680 hp Alpine A424_Beta, with which the French Renault offshoot will compete in the WEC from 2024.
