Just like in the match for the Johan Cruijff Scale, Ajax lost at home to PSV this afternoon. The chagrin of the audience could be heard in the stadium and some of the fans seem to have had it with trainer Alfred Schreuder. The choice lord understands the criticism, he says after the game.
“It is not good that you are 2-0 behind PSV, says Schreuder afterwards. “So I understand the emotion of the supporters. We are of course used to being able to win games against PSV at home.”
According to Schreuder, Ajax never claimed a victory for a moment. “We were just not good enough for that. I think there would have been a draw.”
