What did the obstacles look like in the second episode? Who caused a stir? And who could qualify for the grand final? Here come the answers!

The Leiber family turns it up – Feigenbutz goes knockout

The Leiber family is now part of the permanent ninja inventory. In this episode, father Rainer and son Dennis ventured into the course. The Leibers celebrated two successes in the first duel round: while Rainer was able to prevail against Ronny Gwerder, Dennis kept the upper hand against Paul Mitskevitch.

“No matter who comes, you’re just happy to be there,” said father Rainer after his first round duel and referred to his age of 51. Stage two was ultimately the end of the line for the Leiber family.

Vincent Feigenbutz was caught a lap earlier. The professional boxer, who was in the last regular season, lost out to Simon Knitter. The 26-year-old didn’t stand a chance against the experienced ninja athlete, but still showed a respectable performance. For other well-known participants such as “Doc Unicorn” Uwe Weitzer, it was already over at the start.

Sibon, Schreiber and Co. in the final

Astrid Sibon, Andrea Forstmayr, Eric Zekina, Bastian Hauk, Mahdi Limper, Simon Knitter, Artur Schreiber and Philipp Göthert, on the other hand, made it to the Power Tower.

As always, the combination of power, balance and speed was required here. Astrid Sibon was able to prevail in the women’s category and, like last year, is in the final.

In addition, Simon Knitter, Eric Zekina and Artur Schreiber saved their chance to win 50,000 euros. Philipp Göthert in particular experienced a bitter end when he touched the ground early on at the Power Tower and was eliminated. As a consolation he still had the 5,000 euros that he received as the fastest athlete in the first round.

What did the stages look like?

In the first round it was about jumping kicks to the bike with a pendulum trunk. After the wheel change, the dominoes were waiting. After the pipeline, the athletes were only separated from the buzzer by the wall.

Those who made it to the second stage initially found themselves on the surfboards. Then the springs and hangers had to be mastered. The ninjas, who couldn’t be bothered with the clockwork, found themselves in front of the fireplace.

To connect the show, we went to the Power Tower as usual, where the ninjas were once again asked to give their all.
