From 1 September 2023, Flemish young people can opt for a new study program in Modern Languages in the third grade of ASO, which focuses entirely on foreign languages. The Flemish government has given the green light for this. “Flemish people owe their prosperity partly to their good language skills and we must not lose that asset,” says Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA).
