Bonus school books, a little help for families
Between folders, diaries and books, everything a student needs, the expense therefore becomes very expensive: the Government does not do much, but puts a patch with a classic School book bonuses for low-income familieswith which contributions are recognized that go to cover, partially or entirely, these costs.
It is the Region that sets the terms and conditions for accessing the support, while i Municipalities deal with the disbursement of contributions. Some Regions, however, left before the others, therefore they have already closed the tenders to obtain the aid, in others, however, there is still time because the tenders to send the application have not yet been published.
The Regions that have already closed the tenders
To date, the request for school book bonuses in Piedmont, Lombardy, Puglia, Friuli Venezia Giulia And Valle d’Aosta it can no longer be done, the tenders have been closed. In Liguria, Abruzzo, Marche, Molise, Basilicata And Calabria, however, it does not appear that they have yet been published. In other regions, Lazio, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Campania And Sicily the request is still possible: let’s see what are the requirements and deadlines to be respected.

In Lazio there is time until 15 October
As regards the Lazio Region, since for elementary schools, the provision of textbooks is already freethe book bonus in question is reserved for middle and high school students who must be resident in Lazio and whose Isee must be less than 15,493.71 euros.
The application must be made by completing a paper form to be delivered to the Municipality of residence. The Siced platform for entering data will remain active until 15 October 2023.
What happens in Emilia Romagna
The Emilia Romagna Region opens the tenders from 5 September to 26 October 2023, both for scholarships and for textbook contributions. The request must be submitted on online site Er.go.Scuola by those who have an ISEE or from 0 to 10,632.94 euros, or from 10,632.95 to 15,748.78 euros. Those in band 1 will have priority.
Access to the bonus is reserved for students aged 25 or less, except in the case of disabled students.
Tuscany Region: there is time until 22 September
In Tuscany for the question there is time until 22 September and the contribution ranges from a minimum of 130 to a maximum of 300 euros. The ISEE must be less than 15,748.78 euros e in the case of residents in the municipalities of Capraia Isola or Isola del Giglio, given the specificity of the territory, the ISEE can be up to 36,000 euros. The request must be submitted to the Municipality of residence.
What is Campania doing?
In Campania as in Emilia Romagna two ISEE ranges are identified: from 0 to 10,633.00 euros and from 10,633.01 to 13,300.00 euros. Those who fall within the aforementioned thresholds can therefore apply directly to the municipality of residence, remembering that the first bracket will have priority. Deadline by October 15th.
The announcement in Sicily
In the case of Sicily, the questions for the book bonus must be presented exclusively to the school attended, by the deadline of 13 October 2023. The schools will send everything to the Municipality of residence by 24 November 2023. The application must be presented by those who have an ISEE not exceeding 10,632.94 euros.
