Polimoda Scholarships 2023/24
For the 2023/24 academic year, the Florentine institute renews its commitment to young talents who dream of a future in the fashion industry. Polimodaindeed, it makes available thirteen scholarshipswith full or partial coverage, dedicated to courses Undergraduate And master’s degree departing in October. The stated goal is to offer concrete support to the next generation of creatives. There are several scholarships offered by Marangoni Institute, which can be accessed by presenting a convincing project summarized in a video of up to 60 seconds or in a visual moodboard. The topics range from the reinterpretation of a brand’s heritage in a Gen Z key to the infinite possibilities offered by Metaverse and virtual reality, up to artificial intelligence. Costume & Fashion AcademyInstead, it presents four new scholarshipswhich add up to 40 already active for the 2023/24 academic year. The latest initiative is aimed at the Master in Fabrics Innovation Design, scheduled for November in the institute’s Rome headquarters, dedicated to the research and development of cutting-edge materials with a green soul. It is no less IED European Institute of Designwhich together with the Aldo Galli Academy of Fine Arts and IED Kunsthal Bilbao, is giving away 194 scholarships for the 2023/24 academic year, covering 50% of the tuition fee. The initiative is aimed at students of the three-year, post-diploma and foundation courses organized in the institute’s offices throughout Italy and Europe. To participate, a project must be carried out following the brief provided by the school, leaving room for creativity and original ideas. When brands take the field
Not just academies and schools. Wool4School Italy is the competition created by The Woolmark Company, now in its fifth edition, which is aimed at high school students. The mission is to create an outfit of up to four items, using at least 70% of merino wool. This year the competition is in collaboration with Slam Jamwhere the winner will have the opportunity to activate a two-week internship. Registrations are open until March 31, 2023. Together with the Point Foundation, one of the largest LGBTQ+ organizations in the United States, Dolce & Gabbana he devised the Dolce & Gabbana Point Scholarship, a four-year scholarship for those who dream of working in fashion or art. The scholarship will be active for the 2023/24 academic year, the winner will be announced in June this year.
